Introducing the world to the man who helped make it a bit more accessible.

Every day, billions of people use Google Maps - and thanks to features like accessible transit routes, detailed voice guidance, and information on wheelchair accessible places, those users are able to overcome obstacles that make the world more challenging to navigate. As part of the Inside Google series, detailing the company’s most impactful projects, we collaborated directly with Google Maps Accessibility Lead Sasha Blair-Goldensohn to tell the story of how he helped change the world for millions of others as the result of a unique personal experience, and what the future of his mission looks like. It’s a story that can only be told from Sasha’s point of view.

The mini-documentary was released on Global Accessibility Awareness Day, alongside a series of shorter form social videos.
